When I'm not traveling to ply the oceans aboard cruise ships, I'm working on several inventions, including my quest to convert CO2 into a useful fuel. My work at Ocean Ethanol has the potential to revolutionize how the world uses energy, in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner. I'm a struggling inventor, and if you believe in trying to change the world for the better, please contact me. We need an angel investor to finish up this ground-breaking research. Our first investor ran out of money just as we were completing our research at Battelle (Pacific Northwest Labs).
Along the way to the path of discovery, I have my first patent filed, a device which is the heart of the CO2 conversion technology, called the Modular Block. The device is basically a simple, bolt-together hexagonal unit that allows for the fast prototyping of gas and liquid processes. The NSF has termed it an industrial Lego. The invention was recently submitted to the History Channel for its call for Modern Marvels.
As part of my discovery process, I have used my CO2 laser engraver to make acrylic prototypes of the Modular Blocks. I also use the laser engraver to make custom lasered acrylic business cards. More recently, I'm lasering some really exotic new artwork out of acrylic called HelioArt.
My newest invention is in the area of water purification, using the bladeless pump originally developed by Nicola Tesla over 100 years ago, in combination with a water cavitating disc that produces steam by rotational power. This disc turbine has some revolutionary applications in water heating, purification, sonochemistry and even biodiesel mixing.
Most recently, I've decided to open up a travel agency and am now a member of the CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association). Because of my contact with clients interested in luxury travel, I'm now offering megayacht charter and executive jet charter to the menu of items I can arrange for your travel experience.

Cruise Reviewing is a website dedicated to luxury cruise ship and resort reviews. Your host, Pepe, will take you from the alps in Switzerland to the palm lined shores of Bora Bora in French Polynesia. From a modest mountain hut, to a glamorous superyacht plying the emerald waters in the South Pacific. Along the way, Pepe reviews all the gear you need to travel comfortably, efficiently, and safely.
Pepe also shows you how to plan your vacation, and develop a strategy for traveling. Typically, he'll pack only one carry-on, which is usually wheeled luggage. The advantage is to have everything with you to zoom through airports, passport control, customs, and spend less time packing and unpacking. This lets you have more time to enjoy your journey and vacation.
Pepe is a big advocate for the digital camera, iPhone and writing a daily journal.
Digital Camera: This allows you to capture (and recapture) the moment, long after the vacation is over. Digital cameras are compact, and allow you to take an almost unlimited number of photos. They also allow you to take a short movie clip of the adventure, which you can combine into a photo scrapbook (through iPhoto on your Mac), or into a short movie of your vacation which you can share with your friends and family.
iPhone and iPod Touch: This amazing technology allows you now to stay connected anywhere in the world. These amazing handheld devices not only store movies, digital music, photos, and GSM phone ability, but also is a full web-browser (Safari) with Wifi, so you can connect on-the-go. Pepe recently bought an iPhone, and takes it everywhere. With the ability to listen to music and catch up on podcasts, it literally compresses the long flights into very pleasurable experiences.
Journal: A small notebook journal (Pepe makes his with custom lasered acrylic covers) allows you to jot down notes, ideas and adventures of the journey. It's also a great place to keep maps and other trip info for handy reference.
