Why do I need travel insurance ?

If you're spending more than $3,000 per person, then you should consider travel insurance. Travel insurance gives you coverage where your primary insurance doesn't have coverage (or limited coverage), plus it gives you cruise and emergency medical transportation which your primary insurer might not offer. I personally use travel insurance for all my trips.

How is insurance quoted ?

Insurance is quoted on a rate based on age. The older you are, the more limitations you have on the amount of insurance you can carry.

In an emergency, how do I use the insurance ?

Call the emergency number provided on the policy, and they can arrange medical attention and transportation.
